Clearly the site needed to clearly illustrate the various programmes on offer with the Foundation as well as inspire potential donors, mentors and participants.
The solution is a custom WordPress site which allows the use of pre-built components, e.g. the map: clicking a region on the NZ map will reveal the programmes available in that area.
Introducing Terabyte’s very own customised donation portal: the perfect combination of high functionality and simplicity – a “Goldilocks” option! The Foundation partners with Flo to Cash for their donation payment functionality, so we built a custom integration with that and Stripe. The donor can select various donation amounts and frequencies, select which programme to donate to, which region, and is emailed a tax receipt. The donation portal captures all donations that have been made, producing a list for analysis.

In terms of administration, we’ve got the whole country covered: each region has a dedicated administrator who can control the content for that area. We also added functionality for region-based authors to edit content on the site, with custom notifications. Automated press release functionality ensures that all mentions in the media are pulled through to the site.
The site is integrated with MailChimp and a custom automation, nurturing new signups with information on donation opportunities and other news.
The resulting website is clean, fresh and inspiring, with clear navigation and plenty of opportunity for users to learn all about this amazing Kiwi charity, which Terabyte is honoured to be working with.
